Northern Beaches Apartment
The transformation of the Northern Beaches apartment from dark and dated to a light and airy Hamptons-inspired retreat is a testament to the power of strategic interior design.
By choosing lighter neutrals as the foundation, the space instantly feels more open and inviting, and highlights the apartment’s generous dimensions. This approach not only enhances the natural light but also imbues the apartment with a sense of sophisticated luxury, reminiscent of the chic coastal elegance of the Hamptons.
The result is a harmonious blend of style and comfort, perfectly suited to the laid-back yet upscale vibe of the Northern Beaches.
Clontarf Residence
From the ground up, we worked with the architects, engineers, and builders to design this luxury Clontarf residence, ensuring every detail was meticulously curated to create a space that exudes elegance and sophistication. This collaboration allowed us to blend cutting-edge technology with timeless design, resulting in a home that not only complements its stunning surroundings but also offers unparalleled comfort and functionality.
Port Douglas Holiday Home
This stylish two-bedroom holiday apartment in a Port Douglas resort was nearly in ruins when it was acquired.
The new owners aimed to renovate it, but we exceeded their expectations.
We installed a brand-new kitchen, updated the lighting, and added air conditioning units. Following that, we painted the walls, laid down new carpet, and furnished the space with decor that complements the tropical setting.
The owners were thrilled with their revamped holiday home, which also served as a vacation rental, yielding a 14% return.
Byron Bay Home/Work Studio
Nestled behind the main house, we designed this two-bedroom, two-bathroom home/work studio to perfectly encapsulate the lifestyle of a Byron Beach photographer with a passion for surfing. Maximizing the 60 square meter allowance for a NSW Granny Flat, the design extends the living area while maintaining a sense of privacy. The inclusion of an open-air dining void serves as a tranquil buffer between the two living units, allowing natural light and fresh air to permeate the space. Wide timber front steps invite relaxation in the sun, creating a seamless connection to the outdoors.
The outside shower completes the picture . This harmonious blend offunctionality and leisure ensured the photographer could indulge in both work and play without ever leaving the comfort of his home oasis.
City Apartment
Twenty floors up, this Sydney City apartment deserved a chic, ‘New York’ makeover to complement the position.
American Walnut was used for the joinery throughout, the colour complementing the rich hues of the pure wool carpet.
A mirrored wall to reflect the cityscape and an elegant French sofa adds a finishing touch.
Commercial Projects
We also work in conjunction architects on new homes, and with strata companies, updating existing apartment buildings.
Before and After
Just a few examples of what can be achieved using clever design in a renovation to keep the cost down.
